Handing Off Health Psychology

Research output: Contribution to journalEditorial

Abstract

It takes a team to produce Health Psychology, and the current crew has been producing it every month since 2017. Many people deserve considerable credit for their outstanding service to the journal. Our Senior Associate Editors Matthew M. Burg and David B. Sarwer, and our Senior Statistical Editor Shelley Blozis, have provided invaluable leadership and expertise. Our stellar cast of Associate Editors, past and present, includes Linda Carlson, Mary Amanda Dew, Carolyn Fang, Sarah Feldstein Ewing, Trevor A. Hart, Peter G. Kaufmann, Becky Marquez, Eli Puterman, and Ryan E. Rhodes. Numerous others have served as Guest Editors and Consulting Editors, and countless scientists have contributed to the journal’s success by submitting their manuscripts and by serving as external peer reviewers. The editors would not have been able to do their work without the steadfast assistance of Lindsay MacMurray, our Peer Review Coordinator, and of the dedicated executives and production staff at APA Journals, including Rebecca Barth, Cara Bevington, Annie Hill, Rose Sokol-Chang, and others. Jennifer Crocker, APA’s Chief Editorial Advisor, has provided some very helpful guidance in difficult situations, and we have also benefited from the recommendations of APA’s Publications and Communications Board and Council of Editors.
