N2 - OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study was to analyze the sonographic characteristics of giant cell tumors of the tendon sheath. CONCLUSION. Giant cell tumors of the hand typically appear as solid, homogeneous hypoechoic masses with detectable internal vascularity that are associated with the flexor tendons of the fingers.
