Abstract
A giant cell fibroblasloma (GCF) presented in the subcutis of the breast in a 13‐month‐old girl which recurred 6 years later as a dermal and subcutaneous neoplasm whose patterns were in part GCF and spindle cells with a storiform configuration resembling dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP). The issue remains unsettled as to whether GCF is the juvenile variant of DFSP, but an argument about this relationship is supported circumstantially by a case such as ours.
