Abstract

Several image assembly errors were found in Figs 2, 3 and 6. Specifically, the panels showing GFP and HIF1α in Fig. 2Cb were erroneously duplicated with overlapping images from GFP and HIF1α panels, respectively, in Fig. 2Ca. The image for simHIF1α in Fig. 3C was erroneously duplicated with the overlapping image for GFP in Fig. 6Cb. GFP and BMP9 panels in Fig. 6Cb were erroneously duplicated with overlapping images for GFP and BMP9, respectively, in Fig. 3C. As shown in the corrected panels below, the errors do not adversely impact the conclusion of the original work. The authors apologise to the journal and scientific community for any inconvenience caused by these errors.
