Abstract
This article examines the design, construction, and dramaturgical concerns of Something Wicked, the author’s combat video game adaptation of a scene from William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. In addition to offering a new close reading of the source play, this article aims to offer insights to scholars and practitioners on the process of creating digital adaptations as practice-engaged scholarship.
