Abstract

Solid organ transplants are the treatment of choice for patients with end-stage organ disease. Although the incidence of liver and renal transplants are increasing, the number of patients added to the donor waitlist continues to outpace organ availability. As such, detection of solid organ allograft complications and emergencies is crucial. This chapter focuses on the imaging features liver and kidney transplant emergencies.
