Abstract
We report a 62-year-old man with a long history of carcinoid heart disease. Clinical, noninvasive diagnostic studies and catheterization data that led to the diagnosis are presented. Surgical correction with double bioprostheses was successfully performed. A one-year follow-up is included. Carcinoid involvement of the heart is briefly discussed, and the possibility of late carcinoid involvement of bioprostheses is raised.
