Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

This chapter discusses the final phase of behavioral intervention research, the dissemination and translation of research findings. We explore dissemination and translation in the specific context of hospice and palliative care. Practical aspects of publication and alternative and complementary methods of dissemination are reviewed. Translation strategies informed by implementation science are outlined to ensure that successful interventions are effectively adapted and integrated into practice. Finally, we outline the relationship between research, policy, and practice.
