Abstract
Composite materials are gaining importance in aerospace and other areas of applications, and hence it is necessary to include the mechanics of composite materials in undergraduate education. Such an emphasis in undergraduate education would prepare the present students as better engineers for the future. To supplement the education on composite materials and to appreciate anisotropy, a unified computational tool is required. However, the available software on composite materials are not oriented towards education. An emphasis is given in this paper to develop a unified software for education on composite materials.
