N2 - A patient previously diagnosed with Alport Syndrome was evaluated using multimodal imaging. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) demonstrated significant thinning of the inner retina within the macula, and inner retinal cysts were found in the peripheral macula. OCT angiography demonstrated loss of the choriocapillaris. Abnormal collagen appears to have multiple deleterious effects on the retinal and choroidal structure and vasculature.
