Abstract

The authors regret: 1. The following statement: ‘Six dyads were excluded4, leaving 158 dyads for analyses.’ The authors would like to modify this statement to state that ’10 dyads were excluded4, leaving 154 dyads for analyses.’ 2. Footnote #4: ‘Dyads were excluded because the instructed partner told their partner they forgot their instructions (n = 2), they knew each other (n = 3), were minors (n = 1), or the computer froze (n = 1).’ The authors would like to modify the statement to state that ‘Dyads were excluded because the instructed partner told their partner they forgot their instructions (n = 2), they knew each other (n = 3), were minors (n = 1), the computer froze (n = 1), or they failed the manipulation check by indicating that they did not follow instructions at all (n = 3).’ The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
