Abstract

The authors regret a citation error in the paper, in the following sentence: Initial experience sampling work has documented individuals reporting regulation attempts in roughly 40% of episodes (Daniels et al. 2023 [18]), which would correspond to several times over the course of a day. Here, Daniels et al., 2023, had a name misspelled; it should be cited and included in the citation list as follows: Daniel, K. E., Southward, M. W., & Teachman, B. A. (2024). Investigating psychiatric symptoms as predictors of the reasons people do not regulate their emotions in daily life. Emotion, 24, 241–254. https://dx.doi.org/10.1037/emo0001260.
