Abstract

The dose of carbenoxolone administered to mice was written incorrectly in the following three instances: 1. Carbenoxolone (CBX, C4790; Sigma-Aldrich) was prepared in a vehicle of normal saline, and it was administered (245 mg/kg intraperitoneally) 1 hour before IRI (Supplemental Figure 2A). 2. Plasma creatinine was elevated in vehicle-treated C57BL/6 mice after ischemia-reperfusion, but it was attenuated by a single injection of CBX (245 mg/kg intraperitoneally) (Figure 1A) given 1 hour before IRI (Supplemental Figure 2A). 3. Mice were treated with vehicle (saline; n=7) or carbenoxolone (CBX; 245 mg/kg intraperitoneally; n=4) 1 hour before IRI. The correct dose and the one that was administered, is 0.245 mg/kg. This correction has no effect on the interpretation of data or conclusions of the article. We apologize for the mistake.
