Abstract

The authors wish to note, "The Western blot data in Fig. 4C (both Upper and Lower) were generated by performing a combined experiment using different samples. An error occurred while compiling the final Fig. 4 when IP: Bax 6A7 and IB: Bax poly bands were duplicated in a few lanes in both panels as they were transfected by common control shGFP RNA. Upon re-evaluation of the data, we identified the error in these two parts of Fig. 4C and, as a result, we have repeated this experiment and are providing a revised Fig. 4. The results of this repeat experiment do not change the conclusion of the published article." The corrected figure and its legend appear below. (Figure Presented).
