Abstract

Percutaneous coronary intervention is the primary mode of revascularization in patients with hemodynamically significant coronary artery stenosis. Despite advances in stent technology, restenosis remains a major issue with coronary intervention. In this chapter the clinical presentation and the impact of restenosis on clinical outcomes will be reviewed.
