Abstract
Conductometric curves for the concentration-induced denaturation of DNA in salt-free solutions were obtained. The structural parameters and the enthalpy of the process were calculated within the framework of the Manning theory. The obtained results were compared with the literature data. It was shown that conductometry in combination with the Manning theory make it possible to obtain reliable data on the state of DNA in solutions.
