Abstract

We realized on-chip Floquet parity-time symmetric photonic waveguides with frequency-varying or chirped dissipative modulations. The device demonstrated tunable and switchable asymmetric transmission, dynamically evolving around non-Hermitian phase transitions occurring at exceptional points.
