Abstract

Relative blood flow (rBF), blood oxygen saturation (SO2) and total hemoglobin concentrations (THC) in superficial neck tumor nodes of 7 patients were measured before and during chemo-radiation therapy period. These preliminary results suggest daily based therapy monitoring during the first two weeks and optical methods have potential advantages for ther- apeutics.
