Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Despite the frequency of cesarean delivery, the techniques used have been largely dictated by tradition rather than firm evidence. Accumulating data suggests evidence-based techniques may be used to reduce morbidity and improve efficiency. This chapter reviews the steps of cesarean delivery with emphasis on evidence-based techniques and discusses postoperative care and considerations for cesarean under special scenarios.
