Abstract

Smaller than normal cerebellar vermis dimensions appeared significantly more often on the computerized tomographic scans of 54 schizophrenic and 18 bipolar patients than on those of 79 controls. Differences occurred in alcohol abusers and nonabusers but most frequently in bipolar alcohol abusers.
