Case report: Flagellate erythema with dermatographism

Abstract

Flagellate erythema occurs following the consumption of raw or undercooked shitake mushrooms, in associated with autoimmune disease, and after bleomycin treatment. A dramatic case of shitake mushroom-induced flagellate erythema is presented, highlighting the presence of dermatographism in this patient.
