Abstract

In this article, the authors have shown an initial increase in the carriage rate of S. aureus in patients undergoing desensitization for allergies. This seems to be much more marked for skin colonization than for nose and throat The clinical implication of this is not clear yet, however, it should certainly be kept in mind in the follow-up and treatment of these patients.
