Abstract

Bone scintigraphy using Tc-99m MDP was performed on a 62-year-old man with the Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. The scan showed multiple foci of abnormal bone uptake, and results of a subsequent biopsy confirmed the presence of metastatic non-beta islet-cell tumor tissue.
