Abstract
An antenna consisting of three collocated orthogonal doubly loaded thin wire loops is discussed. This antenna is capable of simultaneously sensing vectors of electric and magnetic fields. The response of each loop to the electric and magnetic field is found using classical theory of thin wire loops. It is shown that optimum balanced operation of the antenna can be obtained by selecting the loop size and the antenna load impedances. The overall response of a balanced is determined.
