Abstract

Correction to: Nature Medicinehttps://doi.org/10.1038/s41591-024-02896-w, published online 26 March 2024 In the version of the article initially published, the sentence “The scientific foundation underlying the concept of a fixed-dose combination, or polypill, therapy targeting multiple modifiable ASCVD risk factors was first proposed in patents GB 0100548.7 and GB 008791.6 filed by Nicholas Wald and Malcolm Law in 2000 and discussed in 2001 by a World Health Organization and Wellcome Trust expert group” originally lacked the patent information, which has now been added to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
