Abstract
The Argus/2H computer system analyzes 24-hour dual-channel Holter-recorded ECGs. The system produces for the clinical researcher machine-readable and hard-copy summaries of ventricular ectopic activity in detail simply not available with conventional manual-scanning techniques. Argus/2H is assembled with generally available and modestly priced components so that replication is straightforward. Locally, a second system has been assembled to process the Holter recordings for a multicenter investigation of the limitation of infarct size.
