Abstract
The basic Argus algorithms have remained essentially unchanged since their original description by F. M. Nolle. Over the past year, development of new algorithms for use in the Argus/H, Argus/2H, and Argus/RT systems has involved several areas including: 1) QRS detection and delineation, 2) PVC (Premature Ventricular Contraction) detection, 3) detection of atrial arrhythmias, and 4) automatic editing. It is anticipated that many of the strategies employed in each of these areas will ultimately be incorporated into a more vigorous version of the general Argus algorithms. This paper briefly summarizes the authors' progress to date.
