Abstract

Infantile cortical hyperostosis of antenatal onset is an uncommon disease characterized by polyhydramnios, anasarca or hydrops, pulmonary hypoplasia, hepatomegaly, bowed hyperostotic long bones, and a poor prognosis. Sonographically the intrauterine manifestations may be similar to those of osteogenesis imperfecta, type II.
