Abstract

The arrhythmia analysis systems at Columbia University and Washington University are discussed. These share responsibility for processing long-term ECG recordings for the multicenter post-infarction program. The program coordination and data center monitors technical quality of the recordings and clinical quality of the results via blinded reprocessing for which a fraction of the recordings are reanalyzed in order to measure variations within and between institutions. Despite differences in their analysis methodologies, the two institutions have provided comparable results during the first 18 months of the program.
