Abstract

TWENTY patients, 9 of whom received cis-platinum, had chemotherapy induced nauea and vomiting unresponsive to conventional metoclopramide. While continuing the same cytotoxic chemotherapy regime, patients subsequently received oral lorazepam and domperidone. Significant reduction in vomiting occurred. This anti-emetic combination warrants further investigation in the control of chemotherapy induced emesis.
