Abstract

The assessment and evaluation of Student Outcomes for continuous improvement of a program is a challenging process to develop as well as to implement for successful ABET accreditation. Although some of the elements of this process is available in the literature, there is no comprehensive approach available as a viable model. An emphasis is given in this paper to present a holistic model for assessment, evaluation, and interpretation of ABET student outcomes and continuous improvement process. Also, the performance indicators and respective rubrics for each one of the student outcomes, possible direct and indirect methods for assessment, evaluation and presentation of results, feedback and implementation for continuous improvement are presented in this paper.
