Abstract
The weak rotational Raman scattering in CH4induced by zero point vibrational motions was searched for using a double Fabrv-Pernt method with spectral multiplexing. The cross-section for rotational Raman scattering is shown to be less than 2x10 the Rayleigh cross-section.
