Abstract

The purpose of this report is to present the South Carolina Americans with Disabilities Act Project, a multi-agency effort to reach compliance with Title II's ban on discrimination against people with mental illnesses. Our aim in sharing this project is for other states to realize that public entities can, quite easily and with little or no added cost, ensure that their services, programs, and activities are accessible to and usable by people with mental illnesses.
