Abstract
Inflammatory bowel disease（IBD）⁃associated dysplasia is diagnostically challenging. It is also one of the key factors in the management and surveillance of IBD patients. This article describes the diagnosis and characteristics of IBD dysplasia，including the protocol of endoscopic surveillance biopsy，the grading and corresponding histological morphology of dysplasia，and the morphological characteristics of newly recognized non⁃conventional IBD⁃associated dysplasia.
