Abstract

This article presents the sampling and requirements to make histological slices of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in endoscopic biopsy, and summarizes the morphological characteristics, diagnostic approach and key points of differential diagnosis in order to gain a general acknowledge of the pathological diagnosis of IBD in endoscopic biopsy.
