Personal profile

Research interests

I am a cancer epidemiologist with research focuses on the etiology of cancer, cancer health disparities, and health services. My research projects include the contributions of patients, healthcare providers, and neighborhoods to racial disparities in breast cancer treatment and outcomes, the identification of barriers to cancer treatment in low-income patients, and the role of healthcare access dimensions (affordability, accommodation, acceptability, availability, and accessibility) in cancer disparities. I also have extensive experience in cancer survivorship and the role of early-life exposures in cancer development.
