Personal profile

Research interests

I am primarily interested in improving understanding of and treatment for women with alcohol use disorders and their children, with the ultimate goal of reducing the inter-generational transmission of harms related to alcohol use disorders. Related to this, I also study the development of substance and behavior problems in children from high-risk families and extra-treatment factors that influence recovery from alcohol use disorders in adults, with a particular interest in social/environmental factors.
