Research interests

My research group primarily has been focusing on developing polymeric materials for ophthalmic applications. For example, the development of an auto-focusing intraocular prosthesis and a biomimetic vitreous substitute. More recently, I have been interested in developing predictive models for health care of veterans at the Veterans Affairs medical center.
