My plastic and reconstructive surgery practice is predominantly focused on breast plastic surgery, both reconstructive and aesthetic. I have extensive experience in peripheral nerve research, however to reflect the nature of my clinical practice I have shifted my research interest to studies involving breast plastic surgery. Currently, this involves a combination of clinical outcome studies, patient satisfaction studies, and translational studies from the operating room to the laboratory. I have formed strong ties with colleagues providing other elements of breast cancer care in an effort to bridge the gap between specialties and optimize the patient experience.
