My research interest lies primarily in Medical Education. As the student clerkship director for my department, I am involved with several various projects relating to the educational programming to our students. In this vein, I am interested in the education of our residents. As their faculty member involved in teaching them in the OR, on the Benign inpatient service and with them int heir continuity resident clinics, I am also very interested in their understanding of the clinic population they service. Examining possible areas of health disparities within their resident clinic population is an extended area of interest.
Minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques for common and rare ob/gyn procedures, recurrent miscarriage, menstrual disorders, menopause, menorrhagia, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, amenorrhea, sexually transmitted infections, benign ovarian masses, fibroid tumors.
