Personal profile
Research interests
Clinical quality improvement initiatives regarding chronic disease management especially sickle cell disease to reduce healthcare costs and improve patient care. Lack of access to multidisciplinary care services in this unique population has resulted in health disparity and accounts for a large percentage of acute health care utilization. We have a unique opportunity to render focused and collaborative intensive care management aimed at these high consumers of healthcare resources, focused on delivering care in the outpatient setting.
Clinical interests
Sickle cell anemia, thrombosis, anemia, cytopenias, leukocytosis, myeloproliferative neoplasms.
