Research activity per year
Investigation of methods of restoring function to the larynx with vocal cord paralysis. Animal models of nerve injury and repair are used. Studies of physiology and cellular responses are carried out. The use of muscle stem cell therapy and original surgical interventions are investigated.
Voice disorders (spasmodic dysphonia, swallowing disorders, hoarseness, whispering or strained voice, vocal cord paralysis, professional voice problems). Reconstructive surgery (cancer or trauma). Head and neck (tumors, lymph nodes, masses, biopsies). Laryngology disorders.
