Research interests

Imaging and data-driven approaches to understand the heterogeneity of human responses to brain injuries, with a focus on complications after stroke, especially cerebral edema, using:

    • Artificial Intelligence (image analysis, neural networks, outcome prediction)
    • Big Data (data sharing/harmonization, analysis pipelines, esp. imaging)
    • Genetics and MultiOmics

Clinical interests

IN-PATIENT CARE ONLY in the Stroke Service. Acute brain injury including stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and head trauma. Management of cerebral ischemia / vasopasm, raised intracranial hemorrhage. Neuromuscular respiratory failure including Guillain-Barre syndrome and myasthenia gravis. Management of CNS infections including meningitis and encephalitis and control of refractory status epilepticus.
