My lab focuses on metabolic mechanisms underlying anti-tumor immune responses across cancers and as pertains specifically to head and neck cancer. My mentorship philosophy is to promote independent thinking, challenge dogma, and to expand the mentee's horizons. Experiences in the lab could include, but are not limited to, human and murine immune cell culture, immune cell gene knockdown/knockout, in vivo immune competent and immune deficient animal model experimentation, metabolic experimentation, and conventional experimental assays
