Peter R Millar, PhD, is an instructor in the Department of Neurology, affiliated with the Neuroimaging Labs Research Center at Washington University in St. Louis. He completed his PhD in Psychological & Brain Sciences at WUSTL in 2020, working with Dr. Dave Balota, where his research focused on cognitive differences associated with aging and Alzheimer disease. For his dissertation and postdoctoral training with Dr. Beau Ances, he developed skills in functional and structural MRI. His current research interests involve integrating neuroimaging methods (including MRI and PET) to study the effects of aging and Alzheimer disease on the brain and cognition.
