In my current role as Assistant Director of Clinical Microbiology my work has been focused on both parasitology and virology. A particular interest of mine has been the molecular detection of sexually transmitted diseases, including hepatitis viruses, HIV, Neisseria gonorrhea and Chlamydia trachomatis. Broadly, I am interested in how new technology can be implemented to positively affect patient care.
