Research interests
I am a practicing Gynecologic Oncologist on faculty at Washington University and currently serve as the Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship. I am the national/international study chair for three Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) trials: GOG 232B (completed), GOG 261 (ongoing), and GOG 229I (recently completed) involving the management of women with uterine cancer (Also Co-PI of GOG 232C). I have the expertise, leadership and motivation necessary to successfully carry out the work proposed within this SPORE application. I have a broad background in clinical trial development with the above GOG trials, with specific training and expertise in key research areas of translation research. I’ve had basic laboratory experience during my University of Washington NORCUS fellowship and during the one year of dedicated research spent in Dr. Paul Goodfellow’s laboratory during my gynecologic oncology fellowship.
