    Personal profile

    Research interests

My research, clinical practice, and teaching areas of interest are related to the biomechanical factors of the foot/ankle that contribute to injury and are key to address in the treatment.

    Mentoring

I enjoy the entire process of mentorship from study design and implementation, problem solving, data analysis, results interpretation, dissemination of findings, and career advisement. My areas of expertise and for mentorship include:

    1. Biomechanical and anatomical factors that contribute to lower extremity complications in individuals with diabetes mellitus.
    2. Measurement of muscle and physical deterioration and examination of exercise interventions to improve foot and general function in people with diabetes and peripheral neuropathy.
    3. Leadership skills and expertise in directing multi-disciplinary research teams in complex, patient centered research.
