Research interests

My research interest is in the pathophysiology of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and key alterations in the bone marrow microenvironment occurring in this disease. Other research interests include graft-versus-host disease, stem cell mobilization and chemo-sensitization of MDS and leukemia. My clinical interests include MDS and hematologic malignancies and their treatment by hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and novel treatment approaches.
