Research interests
My research interests include development of clinical trials for breast cancer and lymphoma patients. In particular, I have an active interest in studying the risk of cardiac toxicity in patients who have received radiation as part of their breast cancer therapy. The goal of this work is to identify radiation dose constraints which result in very low risk of cardiac toxicity and could be used in designing radiation treatment plans for patients in the future.
Clinical interests
Radiation therapy using all modalities of external beam radiation ( 3-D conformal treatment planning, IMRT, stereotactic body radiotherapy, image guided radiation therapy, accelerated partial breast irradiation, tomotherapy, advanced localization systems, total body radiation, PET and MRI fusion. Also brachytherapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery
